The idea for the handy sling shopper evolved from the need for an alternative to the nappy bag once our babies had become toddlers. Then we discovered how handy it was for those quick trips to the supermarket, easily slipping over pram handles or over your shoulder to leave your hands free to chase the kids. And because it was so simple to roll up and keep in your handbag, you never left it at home like you would with the "green bags"!
"Another motivator was the regret that surrounded polishing off that fifth box of fundraiser chocolates. We wanted to provide an alternative to the usual fundraising options. The idea of children creating something functional that was not only a beautiful keepsake, but also an environmentally friendly, sugar free item was too good to resist."
With the pouches, we wanted to add something to our range that was both beautiful and practical. Designed with women of all ages in mind, these very special one off creations are perfect for a variety of uses. . . and they look gorgeous too.
As the fog lifts and our babies grow, we hope to introduce more creative and unique items for you to enjoy.
And just in case you were wondering where we got our name from, main contributions to the company come from the Cowan and Randles families - Randi coming from Randles, Cow coming from Cowan (not the excitability of Trish and Wendy - if that's what you were thinking!)
